Attend the Virtual Summit!
The Regional Collaboratives for Supporting Families Summit is an opportunity to connect, get information, resources, and tools to help you refine and reach your vision. And this year it’s virtual and free!
WHY Attend the Summit?
Regional Collaboratives are part of the Community of Practice for Supporting Families in PA!
ISAC Recommendation 4, Strategy #3 states: Support the continued growth of regional collaboratives, through the Community of Practice (CoP), so that communities and all stakeholders experience genuine direction and ownership in local approaches to ensure equal access and support of individuals and families.
So, invite all members and other interested community partners too!
Communities of Practice need to get together to really work!
The Summit is a great opportunity for YOU to
"Connect [with] like-minded peers across the [state] for networking and shared learning to enhance and encourage each [collaborative’s] efforts and implementation strategies."
About the NCoP – The Community of Practice for Support Families of Individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (supportstofamilies.org)
The Summit is a great opportunity for YOUR MEMBERS to do the same!
Plus, if you are not the lead for housing or any other topic included on the agenda at your office or on your collaborative, invite the lead to attend as well.
Want a CHALLENGE? Make sure that at least one lead and one additional member of your Regional Collaborative attend each session!
Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) has been adopted by PA's Office of Developmental Programs as a foundational approach!
Attending the Summit will help you to understand CtLC better through continued discussion with peers, see examples of CtLC in action across the state, and be able to apply the principles of CtLC in a variety of contexts to help you in your work.
